Well good morning boxleaguers. I usually send my summary out after the weekend but I thought I would mix it up a bit this time in the hope that the combination of this email plus the prospect of a dry weekend will spur the more tardy (you know who you are!!!) boxleaguers into action!!!

The new boxleague season starts tomorrow and such is the demand for spaces we have had to add another 2 boxes making this our biggest ever with an incredible 11 divisions, 21 boxes and 84 players hopefully combining to produce 126 competitive singles matches to be played before midnight on 4th January 2015!!!!!

Well our first Season of this winter’s mixed singles campaign is over. This was our biggest ever boxleague with 19 boxes, 10 divisions and 76 players. Overall we played 108 matches which is a record!! There were 6 unavoidable concessions, all due to illness/injury – Phil Rendle (2), Richie (3), Jon Pryce (1).
