Cardiff Lawn Tennis Club is committed to safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk who engage in all tennis activities.

Whether you/your child are engaging in coaching, matches or other organised events, we will strive to keep children, young people and adults at risk safe and free from harm.

Rhian Griffiths is the Welfare Officer for Cardiff LTC and is available to discuss any concerns or worries you may have – 07484832641 or welfareofficercardiffltc@gmail.com

Members who wish to raise a matter of concern may do so knowing that Rhian shall deal with it sensitively, confidentially, discreetly and with honesty of purpose.

Rhian has been a CLTC member for over 30yrs.  She is a retired teacher. Her 4 children were part of the junior section of the club for many years and now represent the 1st teams.

LTA Registered Venue

We take our tennis responsibilities seriously at Cardiff Lawn Tennis Club and this is recognised by us being an LTA Registered Venue which is only awarded to clubs that:-

  • A safeguarding Policy that is communicated to everyone at the venue
  • A Diversity & Inclusion Policy that is communicated to everyone at the venue
  • A trained Welfare Officer that oversees safeguarding at the venue
  • All appropriate volunteers & staff have undertaken a Criminal Records Check
  • The venue undertakes an Annual Risk Assessment
  • All level 3-5 coaches at the venue are LTA Accredited
