Adrian Beames – Longstanding Cardiff LTC Member and Former President – Dies Aged 93
Cardiff Lawn Tennis Club is mourning the loss of one it’s longest serving and most dedicated members, Adrian, who passed away recently at the age of 93.
Adrian joined Cardiff LTC in 1952 and remained an active member at the club for over seven decades. Both on and off the court, he was known for his enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and unwavering commitment to the club’s community and spirit.
He represented the club in teams for many years and contributed significantly behind the scenes, serving as a committee member before ultimately taking on the role of club president – a position he held with distinction.
Adrian’s presence at the club, whether playing, supporting, or socialising, left a lasting impression on generations of members. He will be remembered not only for his dedication but also for the warmth and friendship he extended to all.
