We’ve had an exceptional South Wales doubles league season with 9 out of 13 teams winning their league or got promoted with other 4 retaining position.

Premier 1 Winners in Men’s and Ladies

South Wales Doubles League

Men’s 1^st Team – Won Premier 1 (8^th Year running unbeaten in 80 Matches)

Men’s 3^rd Team – Won Division 1 and Promoted to Premier 3 Capt. Randall Edwards

Men’s 4^th Team – Won Division 3 East Capt. Paul Keenan

Men’s 5^th Team  – Promoted from Division 5 East Capt. Hywel James

Men’s 6^th Team  – Retained position in Division 5 East Capt. Owen Thomas

Men’s 7^th Team – Won Division 6 East Capt. Paul Cousins

Men’s 8^th Team – Promoted from Division 9 East Capt. Tim Haughton

Ladies 1^st Team – Won Premier 1 Capt. Cat Wray

Ladies 2^nd Team – Retained position in Premier 2 Capt. Cat Pollock

Ladies 3^rd Team – Retained position in Division 3 East Capt. Virginia Williams

Ladies 4^th Team – Won Division 8 East Capt. Nikki Hughes

Ladies 5^th Team – Retained position in Division 8 East Capt. Pat Connies Lang

60&Over Mixed Team – Won Division 1 Capt. Val Dixon

There were 184 matches played between April and July with 160 players representing the club.

LTA National Club League

Men 1^st Team – came 3^rd in Midlands National Division and after winning play off are now in Last 8 in GB this weekend in Bournemouth. 15 club members are going to support them.

Ladies 1^st Team – runner up in West Midlands Regional Division.

Men 2: retained position in South Wales Division 1

Ladies 2: South Wales Division 1 winners. Lost in play off for Regional division.

Junior Teams:

South Wales Winners in respective leagues – 12&U Girls, 16&U Boys & 18&U Boys
