We\u2019ve had an exceptional South Wales doubles league season with 9 out of 13 teams winning their league or got promoted with other 4 retaining position.<\/p>\n

Premier 1 Winners in Men\u2019s and Ladies<\/p>\n

South Wales Doubles League<\/span><\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 1st<\/sup> Team \u2013 Won Premier 1 (8th<\/sup> Year running unbeaten in 80 Matches)<\/p>\n

Capt. John Williams<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 2nd<\/sup> Team \u2013 Won Premier 2 Capt. Rhodri Harmes<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 3rd<\/sup> Team \u2013 Won Division 1 and Promoted to Premier 3 Capt. Randall Edwards<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 4th<\/sup> Team \u2013 Won Division 3 East Capt. Paul Keenan<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 5th<\/sup> Team\u00a0 – Promoted from Division 5 East Capt. Hywel James<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 6th<\/sup> Team\u00a0 – Retained position in Division 5 East Capt. Owen Thomas<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 7th<\/sup> Team \u2013 Won Division 6 East Capt. Paul Cousins<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 8th<\/sup> Team \u2013 Promoted from Division 9 East Capt. Tim Haughton<\/p>\n

Ladies 1st<\/sup> Team \u2013 Won Premier 1 Capt. Cat Wray<\/p>\n

Ladies 2nd<\/sup> Team \u2013 Retained position in Premier 2 Capt. Cat Pollock<\/p>\n

Ladies 3rd<\/sup> Team \u2013 Retained position in Division 3 East Capt. Virginia Williams<\/p>\n

Ladies 4th<\/sup> Team \u2013 Won Division 8 East Capt. Nikki Hughes<\/p>\n

Ladies 5th<\/sup> Team \u2013 Retained position in Division 8 East Capt. Pat Connies Lang<\/p>\n

60&Over Mixed Team – Won Division 1 Capt. Val Dixon<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

There were 184 matches played between April and July with 160 players representing the club.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

LTA National Club League <\/span><\/p>\n

Men 1st<\/sup> Team – came 3rd<\/sup> in Midlands National Division and after winning play off are now in Last 8 in GB this weekend in Bournemouth. 15 club members are going to support them.<\/p>\n

Ladies 1st<\/sup> Team – runner up in West Midlands Regional Division.<\/p>\n

Men 2: retained position in South Wales Division 1<\/p>\n

Ladies 2: South Wales Division 1 winners. Lost in play off for Regional division.<\/p>\n

Junior Teams:<\/p>\n

South Wales Winners in respective leagues – 12&U Girls, 16&U Boys & 18&U Boys<\/p>\n

End of Summer Season Players BBQ<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
